Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronously move a feed dog and a needle bar along an endless loop path, share a motor and reduce the cost by providing an interlocking mechanism for synchronizing the operation of a feed dog operating mechanism with the operation of a needle feed mechanism in a Z-shaped or S-shaped sewing machine. SOLUTION: Beds 2, 3 extending in two upper and lower stages are formed on a common base 1 rectangular in plane view, and with a first raw material fed on the lower stage bed 2 suspended on the right side of the base and a second raw material fed on the upper bed 3 suspended on the left side of the base 1, the respective end parts of two raw materials are fed into a sewing part. This sewing machine includes a feed dog operating mechanism 10, a needle feed mechanism 30, an interlocking mechanism 50 for synchronizing the operation of both mechanisms 10, 30 and a driving mechanism 60. The interlocking mechanism 50 includes a multiple link 51 for connecting a feed lower shaft 13 and a feed upper shaft 35, and the oscillating movement of the feed lower shaft 13 is transmitted to the feed upper shaft 35 by the multiple link 51 to be synchronized with each other.
