Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader for reading a removable film cassette electronic memory while the memory is removed from the cassette. SOLUTION: This memory module reader for a memory module 12 is provided with a body 106 having a module socket 108 for defining a cylindrical contact part 112 and the axis of the contact part, a cam mechanism connected to the body 106 and having a plurality of leads 94 and at least one cam surface 104. The cam mechanism is positioned with the contact part 112 and further a terminal block 22 having a structure where the cam mechanism is pushed into contact with the contact part 112.
