Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately maintain an axial core distance between two long cores, prevent fractures of the cores, or quickly discharge gas generated inside the cores to the outside of a mold, and also restrain gas fractures of a casting article when a cylinder head is cast. SOLUTION: In this mold, two long cores (a water jacket core CW and an oil jacket core CO) are built on a lower die DL, and then a molten metal is poured/charged in a casting cavity so as to cast a cylinder head of an engine. In this case, skirting boards 141, 142, 143, and 144 are installed on both ends of the cores CW and CO. The water jacket core is built in the lower die via the skirting boards 141 and 142, and the oil jacket core is built in the lower die by supporting the skirting boards 143 and 144 with the skirting boards of the water jacket core.
