Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish simultaneously by only one-sheet of material a damping, sound-insulation, and electromagnetic-wave shield, by forming the one-sheet of material out of a protective layer stuck on one-side surface of a damping and sound-insulating layer and an electromagnetic-wave shield layer stuck on its other-side surface. SOLUTION: As a damping and sound-insulating layer 1 forming the central portion of an electromagnetic-wave shield material, there is used a layer wherein a reformed asphalt is mixed in the weight ratio of 50:50 with the adequate mixture of iron sand, slug, and iron powder, etc., having specific weights of 4.0 to 5.5 and grain sizes not larger than 2 mm which are generally large specific weights or mixed with one single- substance of them. On one-side surface of the damping and sound-insulating layer 1, a protective layer 2 made of a synthetic-fiber nonwoven-fabric is stuck, and on its other-side surface a low-carbon steel plate is stuck to form an electromagnetic-wave shield layer 3. In this way, the electromagnetic-wave shield material having a damping and sound-insulating quality has a triple structure comprising the three layers of the central damping and sound-insulating layer 1, the protective layer 2 covering one-side surface of both the side surfaces of the layer 1, and the electromagnetic-wave shield layer 3 covering its other-side surface.
