Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the resistance to excessive compression by constituting the above element so as to include one silver halide-containing image forming layer and a buffer layer of a specific value in compression percent under this image forming layer. SOLUTION: This photographic element is constituted to include the one silver halide-containing image forming layer and the buffer layer of 5 to 25% in the compression percent under this image forming layer. This buffer layer has a point of a level regulated to impart the optimum compression. If the sufficiently large compression is applied on the non-exposed conventional photographic paper, an undesirable latent image is significantly formed in some cases and degrades the commercial value of this image. The voiding layer is, thereupon, disposed, by which the compressive force applied on this material is released by the voiding layer and the formation of the undesirable latent image is lessened. The image forming layer having the compression percent of 5 to 25% is capable of eliminating the formation of the undesirable latent image at the time of production of the image and photographic processing. |
