Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starting device which keeps the lubrication state of each sliding section of an engine neither too much nor too less even if the temperature of lubricant varies. SOLUTION: This engine starting device is provided with a hydraulic pressure sensor 6, which detects the completion of the force feed of lubricant to each sliding section of an engine 2, a pre-lubrication controller 7, which outputs a signal to rotate a lubricant pump driving source 3 and a starting motor 4 simultaneously after stopping the rotation of the lubricant pump driving source 3 for a specified time by inputting the signal from the hydraulic sensor 6, and a start detecting means 5 to detect the start of the engine 2. These self holding canceling means Ry1 and Ry1b, when input the signal from the start detecting means 5, cancels self holding circuits B, BR, Ry2a2, Ry1b and Ry2 to stop the lubricant pump driving source 3.
