Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emulsion ink which is made proof against bulging and bleeding and can give a clear printed image without paper flying (curl-up) and ink offset, wherein a specified proportion of the oil used in the oil phase is one having a specified surface tension. SOLUTION: An emulsion ink for stencil printing is provided which has an oil phase in which a colorant, a emulsifier, and a water phase are dispersed and in which the oil phase comprises at least 20 wt.% oil having a surface tension of at most 25 dyn/cm. The oil component in the oil phase may be a mineral oil, a vegetable oil, or the like. In order to improve the long-term stability of the emulsion ink and to better the adhesion of the ink to paper, it is possible to add a suitable amount of a resin to the ink. The colorant used is exemplified by an organic or inorganic pigment. The emulsifier is used to prepare a highly stable emulsion and is desirably a nonionic surfactant alone or a combination of at least two nonionic surfactants of different HLBs. |
