Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adjust degrees of looseness of a steering case to a predetermined value with respect to a support case while enabling support of a steering angle sensor on the fixed support case. SOLUTION: In this support device the upper end of a support case 4 mounted on an end of an axle case 2 is provided with a circular recess portion 11 making the rotational axis P of a steering case 6 equipped with steering wheels as its center. A knuckle arm 9 mounted on the steering case is provided with a down-faced tubular portion 12, and the tubular portion is inserted for support into the circular recess portion by way of a bearing 13. A compression lever 18 is screwed into the knuckle arm, and the compression lever 18 abuts in a point contact condition against a wall portion 15 of the support case constituting the bottom of the circular recess portion. A steering angle sensor 19 is fixed to the support case and preferably disposed opposing the outer peripheral face of the tubular portion.
