DOME TYPE MONITORING CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a camera small in size, light in weight and inexpensive and to realize accurate high-speed rotation by arranging a camera part supporting plate and a horizontal rotary motor oppositely with respect to a rotary shaft existing at the center of the horizontal rotation of a dome type monitoring camera. SOLUTION: A camera part 4 is housed in a camera part housing case and fixed. A gear 13 is fixed in the camera part housing case to constitute a bearing structure. A rotary shaft 12 is rotatably fixed on a camera part supporting plate 11 fixed on a base plate 17. A pulley 16 is fixed on the rotary shaft of a vertical rotary motor 15 fixed on the plate 11, and the gear 13 and the pulley 16 are connected through a toothed belt 14. Then, the plate 11 and the horizontal rotary motor 9 are arranged to be opposed in a state where the rotary shaft 12 existing at the center of the horizontal rotation of this dome type monitoring camera is held in between. Thus, heavy substance out of component elements is arranged to be opposed in a state where the rotary shaft 12 is held in between, so that rotation balance in a horizontal direction is improved and the accurate high-speed rotation is realized.
