CYLINDRICAL SOLID FENDER AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical solid fender which can be easily and costlessly manufactured without use of metal mold or the like and can freely set elements for varying the performance of the fender body. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped restraint member 12 restraining the outer peripheral face 11a from bulging out outwards when the fender is axially compressed as a vessel comes alongside a pier is fitted at the outer peripheral face 11a of both ends of a rubber part 11.
