Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject synthetic resin composition that shoes reduced occurrence of hydrogen chloride gas coeventually dioxine, is translucent or opaque and is useful as plastic bags for shopping or the like. SOLUTION: The objective composition is prepared by combining (A) a synthetic resin component with 1.0-20 wt.%, preferably 2.0-10.0-wt.% of magnesium hydroxide. Polyolefin, polystyrene, polyethylene terephthalate or the like is preferably used as a synthetic resin. The component B occurs in the nature as an ore, for example, brucite, nemalite or the like and is produced industrially by adding slaked lime to sea water.
