Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flexible polyurethane foam which is substantially free of halogens and allows flaming for no longer than 3 sec. SOLUTION: A flexible polyurethane foam is prepared by using an active hydrogen compound comprising (a) a polyether polyol having a hydroxyl number of 2, a weight average molecular weight of from 2,000 to 20,000 and an ethylene oxide content of 5 wt.% or more but less than 30 wt.% and (b) a polyether polyol having a hydroxyl number of 4, a weight average molecular weight of from 4,000 to 20,000 and an ethylene oxide content of 5 wt.% or more but less than 30 wt.%, wherein the mixing weight ratio of (a)/(b) is within the range of (10-90)/(10-90).
