DEODORANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit an excellent effect in removal of various kinds of malodorous components and to sustain the effect for a long period by incorporating a hydrazide compound and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type nonionic surfactant into the above deodorant. SOLUTION: The deodorant contains the hydrazide compound and the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type nonionic surfactant. The hydrazide compound is not particularly restricted, for which the hydrazide compounds known from heretofore are usable and includes, for example, a monohydrazide compound having one hydrazide group in the molecule, a polyhydrazide compound having >=3 hydrazide groups in the molecule, etc. Known nonionic surfactants are usable for the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type nonionic surfactant and include, for example, the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type nonionic surfactant expressed by formula R1O(CH2CH2O)nH, where R1 denotes 8-18C alkyl group and (n) denotes an integer from 2 to 4.
