Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter which enables accurate measurement of a blood pressure at a balloon detention position only by an ordinary percutaneous insertion operation while securing a second lumen when in use, and having a smaller diameter of the catheter. SOLUTION: There are arranged a connector 7 having a gas supply port, a hollow catheter tube 1 with one end thereof connected to the connector 7, a balloon 4 with one end thereof connected to the other end of the catheter tube 1, a hollow central tube 2 piercing the insides of the catheter tube 1 and the balloon 4 and having an end connected to one end of the balloon 4 and a pressure detector which is provided in the connector 7 to allow measurement of the pressure in the hollow of the central tube 2. A coupling means 16 is provided for introducing an output signal from the pressure detector outside to be transmitted to external devices.
