COOLING CASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the directing effect of an article displayed on a display rack by indirectly lighting the article and to prevent the inside of a storage chamber from being affected by heat generation caused by an illuminator. SOLUTION: A cooling case 1 is composed of a heat insulating body 4 having a storage chamber 3 inside and an opening 2 at a front face and a see-through door 5 for closing the opening on the heat insulating body 4 so as to freely open/close it. A cooler is provided on the downside of the storage chamber 3 in the heat insulating body 4. The cooler is covered with a partition cover. On one side of the partition cover which covers the cooler, a discharge port is provided and on the other side, a suction port is provided. The discharge port and the suction port on the partition cover are communicated to cold air guide plates 13 and 14 respectively provided on inside walls on both the sides of the heat insulating body 4. An illuminator 24 for indirect illumination is provided in a space 28 surrounded with the back sides of the cold air guide plates 13 and 14, an inner back wall 25 of the heat insulating body 4 and inside walls 26 and 27 of the heat insulating body 4.
