Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain, in an industrially advantageous manner using easily available raw materials, a new compound which can turn into various useful compounds by easily subjecting the sulphonyl group to nucleophilic substitution reaction. SOLUTION: This new compound is a compound of formula I [R is a 1-6C alkyl, 2-6C alkenyl, 2-6C alkynyl, (substituted) aryl (except a nonsubstituted phenyl) or (substituted) 7-16C aralkyl], for example, 3-(4-toluenesulfonyl)-2- isoxazoline. The compound of formula I is obtained, for example, by reacting a 3-halogeno-2-isoxazoline of formula II (X is a halogen) with a sulfinic acid (an alkali metal salt thereof) of the formula R1SO2Z [R1 is a 1-6C alkyl, 2-6C alkenyl, 2-6C alkynyl, (substituted) aryl or a (substituted) 7-16C aralkyl; Z is H or an alkali metal] in the presence of a hydrogen halide scavenger, in a solvent, at room temperature to the boiling point of the solvent, to obtain a compound of formula III. |
