DANCING CONTROL DEVICE FOR CABLE CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly damp the bucket dancing occurring in a cable crane. SOLUTION: This dancing control device is provided with a load meter (means to detect the vibration state of a suspended article) 10 at a main rope 3 to measure the tension of the main rope 3 of a track cable type cable crane, and a speed control device 14 which varies the lowering and hoisting speed of a rope hanging a bucket (suspended article) 9 according to the change in the tension measured by the load meter 10. Based on the actually commanded speed that is obtained by compounding the commanded speed that is hoisting and lowering speed to make the bucket 9 ascend and descend with the dancing control speed that is hoisting and lowering speed to restrain the dancing of the bucket 9, the hoisting and lowering speed for the bucket 9 is controlled, and the dancing of the bucket 9 is damped by making the tension applied to the main rope 3 approach a fixed value.
