Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat fixing device used for both new automobile having a fixing device for child seat installed on the automobile in accordance with a new standard and existing automobile not having the fixing device. SOLUTION: A fixing device 10 for vehicle comprises lock means 11 disposed retractably on a base seat part 2 of a child seat and an operating lever 8 pressingly operating a lock lever 14 of the lock means 11. The lock lever 14 is supported rotatably on a case 12, a groove part 15a is formed in the rear part thereof engageably with a striker T installed on a seat S of an automobile, and a hook part 16a pressed by the operating lever 8 is formed at the front part thereof. Then the lock lever 14 is energized in the direction of being engaged with the striker T by a coiled spring 18.
