Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life recording/reproducing device capable of making uniform the frequency of using recording/reproducing means operated for recording or reproducing and using all the recording/reproducing means to their ends of life regarding a recording/reproducing device having plural recording/ reproducing means. SOLUTION: This device is provided with plural recording/reproducing means 8 and 9 for conducting at least one of recording and reproducing regarding a specified information signal, a medium carrying means 12 for selectively carrying and loading an information medium on the recording/reproducing means, and a selecting means 16 for selecting a recording/reproducing means for loading the information medium by the medium carrying means 12. The selecting means 16 selects one of a least use frequency up to its point of time among the plural recording/reproducing means.
