Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make cash supplementing operation to an ATM(automated teller machines) or CD (cash dispensers) easily executable. SOLUTION: A cash carrying container 2 is provided with a cash housing section, a lid section 21, a lid locking and unlocking section, a machine discriminating data storing section, and a control section which collates the machine discriminating data inputted from the machine discriminating data holding section 32 of an automatic cash handling machine 3 with the machine discriminating data stored in the storing section and, when both data are coincident, sends an unlocking signal to the lid locking and unlocking section. A cash supplementing system is provided with the automatic cash handling machine 3, a dispensing machine which supplies supplementing cash to the machine 3, and the cash carrying container 2 for housing the cash.
