Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a wide pointer deflecting angle in a predetermined scale range from a lower limit scale to an upper limit scale by disposing a rotating center of the pointer at a position deviated from a center of a circular arc of the scale toward a scale displaying direction. SOLUTION: In the pointer type display instrument, a rotating center 12a of a pointer 12 is disposed at a position deviated from a center 11a of a circular arc of a scale 11-1 toward a scale displaying direction, namely, in a deviated structure. That is, a pointer deflecting angle in a predetermined scale range from a lower limit scale to an upper limit scale of the scale 11-1 is extended to a wide pointer deflecting angle X-2 of 112.5 deg.. For example, if a pointer drive of a stepping motor is conducted at each rotary angle unit of 6 deg., number of gradations is largely increased as compared with prior art, an indication of the pointer 12 is executed stepwise at a gradation of 18.75, and hence its resolution is improved. A measured value change to be measured through an indication of the pointer can be visually easily confirmed, its instrument scale can be reduced, and set in space conservation.
