Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a contact area of an engagement part between a friction plate and each member. SOLUTION: A friction plate 1 has the disc-like configuration and partially has a frictional material 5. A hub (input side member) 2 is mounted in a state that it is relatively slidable to an inner peripheral side engagement part 12 of the friction plate 1 and engageable therewith to forbid the relative rotational motion. A housing (output side member) 3 is mounted in a state that it is relatively slidable to an outer peripheral side engagement part 13 of the friction plate 1, and engageable therewith to forbid the relative rotational motion. The shape of the contact part in these engagement parts is formed by a cam curved line of which a value of radius is varied in proportion to an angle of rotation, and a value of the angle of rotation is variable within a range from 0 to πradian.
