Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively obtain a polyisocyanate having excellent reactivity and high compatibility with polyols and solvents, etc., by reacting a polycyclic aliphatic polyisocyanate with carbon dioxide gas using a specific t-phosphine. SOLUTION: A polyisocyanate of formula II [at least one of R1 and R2 is a group of formula III ((k) is 0-2; (j) and (m) are each 1-5; (h) is 0-2); when either one of R1 and R2 is a group of formula III, the other one is a 2-12C alkylene] can be produced by using a t-phosphine of formula I (R3 and R4 are each an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aromatic group; R3 and R4 may together form a ring). The objective polyisocyanate is produced preferably by using the t-phosphine of formula I in the reaction of a polycyclic aliphatic diisocyanate of formula IV with carbon dioxide. The reaction is preferably carried out at a reaction temperature of -20 to +80 deg.C. The amount of the t-phosphine of formula I is preferably 0.001-10.0 wt.% based on the diisocyanate. |
