Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate separation of a joint between a pipe and an insertion joint without fracturing the joint. SOLUTION: This device separates an insertion joint 2, interconnecting adjoining pipes 1, from a pipe 1. This device comprises two chucks 3 and 4 to constrain each of the pipe 1 and the insertion joint 2; a rack shaft 5 coupled to the chuck 3, constraining the pipe 1, in parallel to the pipe 1; a gear 6 situated at the chuck 4, constraining the insertion joint 2, in a manner to be engaged with the rack 5a of the rack shaft 5; and a drive means 7 to move the chuck 4, provided with the gear 6, along the rack shaft 5 against the separation drag of the joint 2.
