Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grind a wide area including a welded beam and a projecting part projecting from the lower surface of a ground object to smooth the surface. SOLUTION: This grinder is provided with a lower frame L located on a floor and an upper frame U moving up and down on the lower frame L, while the upper frame U is provided with a horizontally movable support shaft 18. The support shaft 18 is provided with a support member 20 moving across the moving direction of the support shaft 18, while the support member 20 is provided with a grinding tool G supported such that the front end side of the grinding tool G can be vertically swung by hand with a grip part 22 provided in an end part, thereby, a worker smoothen a surface of a ground object with visually checking.
