Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of agitation whereby components of liquid to be treated are made extremely fine particles. SOLUTION: An agitating vessel 2 is shaped into a spherical shell, and an agitating utensil 3 having an outside diameter nearly equal to the inside diameter of the vessel 2 is provided. A small quantity of liquid to be treated L compared to the volume of the vessel 2 is put in the vessel, and the agitating utensil 3 is rotated at high speed to agitate the liquid to be treated L while it is shaped into a spherical zone ring of maximum thickness T by centrifugal force. Since the vessel 2 is spherical, it has high pressure withstanding strength and undergoes not much heat stress, agitation can be performed under high temperature and high pressure conditions. And since the thickness and the quantity of the liquid are small on the upper and lower end sides compared to those near the agitating utensil 3, the ratio of the quantity of the liquid directly agitated by the agitating utensil 3 to the quantity of the whole liquid is high, and so agitating efficiency is high. |
