Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle capable of easily adjusting the length of a belt and fixing/releasing a belt by one hand, and surely fixing the belt. SOLUTION: A buckle is composed of a buckle base body 2 having side wall parts 23 erected in both sides of a base portion 21, and an operation body 3 supported on both side wall parts 22 to secure a belt inserting space and fixing a belt B. The belt B inserted into the belt inserting space and folded is inserted into a tunnel space formed in the operation body 3, the operation body is raised/stumbled following a belt operation, and the locking/unlocking of a locking means for maintaining the fixed state of the belt B is carried out by the operation of the belt B.
