Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare gas discharge lamp having a stable electric discharge, rarely generating a flicker of the electric discharge, having good radiation efficiency of ultraviolet rays even when power consumption is large, having a rarely saturated light output, and provided with an external electrode and to provide a rare gas discharge lamp lighting device and a lighting system using this discharge lamp.
