PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device whose manufacturing is easy by allowing a switching part to switch picture data based on color codes contained in the picture data. SOLUTION: Relating to the display device which is provided with plural data output parts 1, 2 outputting picture data having a minimum structural unit as a color code respectively, a display screen capable of successively displaying the picture data outputted from the data output part 1, 2 for every element of the data and a switching part 3 capable of switching the picture data to be displayed on the display screen from among the plural picture data which are to be outputted from the output parts 1, 2 for every element and which inserting-displays an insertion picture at the inside of the display screen 4a by allowing the picture data to be switched, the switching part 3 switches the picture data based on the color codes contained in the picture data.
