Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary scaffold device for a spherical tank which can non-movably fix a scaffold structure when the structure is stopped, thus preventing the structure from being inadvertently moved by wind. SOLUTION: This rotary scaffold device 1 comprises a scaffold structure 20 shaped to extend along a meridian of the upper hemisphere of a spherical tank having a movement drive mechanism 30 and a gripping mechanism 40, the scaffold structure 20 being provided in such a manner that it can be rotated around the spherical tank 10 by the movement drive mechanism 30. The gripping mechanism 40 can grip and release at an equatorial position of the spherical tank 10 a fixed rope 12 placed around the tank.
