Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyvinyl alcohol-based spun yarn drawable at a high speed in a high draw ratio. SOLUTION: A solution of a polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer is spun by using two or more coagulating baths 2 and 3 having different coagulation rates at a distance from a spinning nozzle to a first roller 4. A yarn is taken off at >=150 m/minute high speed and shrunk by >=10% from extraction to drying to give the objective polyvinyl alcohol-based spun yarn.
