Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fill packing materials into the inside by constituting a tower structure installed in a hole a part or all of which is installed underground, joining the end faces of plural cylindrical parts in the axial direction. SOLUTION: When manufacturing a low temperature distillation tower, first a cylindrical part 11 is put in from an opening 2a of a hole 2 dug in the ground and a holding flange part 11a thereof is temporarily fixed to a cradle 10. And a reboiler 8 and column cylindrical parts 21 are accepted by the hole 2 to temporarily fix them, and packing materials are filled into the column cylindrical parts 21 in this state. Next, the lower end of a column cylindrical part 22 of the nest stage is put on the upper end of the column cylindrical parts 21 to join the two by welding. After packing materials are filled into the column cylindrical parts 21, the next cylindrical part 12 is put on so that the column cylindrical parts 21 are covered with it, and the lower end thereof is put on the upper end of the cylindrical part 11 to weld the two. After that, a holding flange part 12a of the cylindrical part 12 is temporarily fixed to the cradle 10. Similarly, column cylindrical parts 23 and 24 and cylindrical parts 13 and 14 are assembled to complete the low temperature distillation tower.
