Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound with controlled molecular structure and molecular weight by reaction between an organotrichlorosilane and a compound having one active hydrogen in the molecule followed by hydrolysis and condensation reaction. SOLUTION: This polyorganosiloxane compound is obtained by reaction between an organotrichlorosilane of formula I (R1 is a 1-18C saturated hydrocarbon, 2-6C unsaturated hydrocarbon, 8-14C radical-polymerizable aromatic hydrocarbon, or the like) and a compound having one active hydrogen in the molecule (pref. a 1-4C alcohol, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or acetic acid) followed by adding water to the reaction system to carry out hydrolysis and condensation reaction.
