PRODUCTION OF MULTILAYERED FOAMED MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply produce a lightweight multilayered foamed molded product usable as a car interior material and having high rigidity and excellent appearance. SOLUTION: A resin compsn. containing crystalline polypropylene and ethylene/octane copolymer rubber as a propylene resin material forming a foamed substrate layer is used and, at first, a skin material 3 is arranged between upper and lower molds 1, 2 for stamping molding and, subsequently, the resin compsn. for forming the substrate layer containing the above-mentioned resin material and a foaming agent is injected and charged in the cavity formed by the upper and lower molds in such a state that the molds are opened and the upper and lower molds are closed to compress the resin compsn. in the cavity and subsequently opened by predetermined quantity to foam the resin comps. to form the foamed substrate layer and, thereafter, this foamed substrate layer is cooled and solidified to produce a multilayered foamed molded product constituted of the foamed substrate layer comprising the polypropylene resin and a skin layer comprising the skin material.
