Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove deposits of fine and non-magnetic bodies in a condition in which an electromagnet is sufficiently distant from a steel plate by installing the electromagnet above the steel plate to be conveyed, and providing a spraying means of the magnetic fluid or fine iron powder. SOLUTION: Deposits 3 on a steel plate 1 are conveyed together with the steel plate 1, and when the deposits are brought into contact with the magnetic fluid 4, they are removed from the steel plate 1 by the magnetic force from a cylindrical electromagnet 2, and attracted to the cylindrical electromagnet 2 through the magnetic fluid 4. The deposits 3 can be removed even when the cylindrical electromagnet 2 is sufficiently distant from the steel plate 1 since the magnetic fluid 4 is interposed therebetween, and the steel plate 1 is prevented from being brought into contact with the cylindrical electromagnet 2. The magnetic fluid 4 is fed from a magnetic fluid feed nozzle 6 when the removing work of the deposits 1 is started. During the removing work, the magnetic fluid 4 is maintained by the cylindrical electromagnet 2, and not reduced in volume. However, it is slightly discharged together with chips, and it is refilled so as to fill a space between the steel plate 1 and the cylindrical electromagnet 2 from the magnetic fluid feed nozzle 6. |
