Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable exhaust gas treatment method and apparatus for reducing dioxin in exhaust gas while considering the simplificity of fly ash treatment without using energy wastefully. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas treatment method is adapted to the detoxifying treatment of exhaust gas containing a harmful component and comprises a first process for introducing exhaust gas into an electric precipitator 4 at 200-350 deg.C to remove soot in the exhaust gas, a second process for introducing the exhaust gas from the first process into a denitrating tower 8 and/or a dioxin removing tower to remove nitrogen oxide and/or dioxins in the exhaust gas, a third process for introducing the exhaust gas from the second process into a semi-dry type reaction tower not only to remove an acidic component in the exhaust gas by a slaked lime slurry but also to quench the exhaust gas and a fourth process for introducing the exhaust gas from the third process into a bag filter to remove a reaction product.
