METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HTML/MHEG TRANSFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate multimedia and hypermedia experts group(MHEG) contents transformation and preparation by transforming the tag of an interpreted text document into format according to the specification of MHEG. SOLUTION: A layout analytic part 13 analyzes a logical document structure by interpreting the tag of a text document contained in a hyper text mark-up language(HTML) among HTML contents to be a transformation source. A format transforming part 15 transforms the format of a reference file constituting HTML contents into format matched with the instruction purpose of MHEG contents. When it is discriminated by the size discrimination of a picture consistency control part 23 that a vertical object size exceeds a vertical presentation size, a correction picture constituting part 25 constitutes a virtual correction picture vertically dividing a virtual display picture. Then, the tag of the interpreted text document is transformed into format according to the specification of MHEG by a tag transforming part 27.
