PRINTING CONTROL METHOD AND PRINTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax a sense of unfairness among users of plural host devices by deciding whether or not interruption processing is possible on the basis of an amount of printing data of a print job. SOLUTION: This printing control method provides an interruption processing part 112 and a processing condition storage part 150 to a printer 100. When a printing request of another print job is outputted from a host 300 while the print job outputted from a host 200 is being performed, the interruption processing part 112 decides whether the interruption processing is possible or not on the basis of an interruption capacity 157 which is product of an amount of remaining data 154 with a predicted processing time regarding the print job of the host 200 as an initial value and a preset interruption ratio 156, and a comparison result of an amount of interruption demand 159 of the predicted time for processing regarding the print job of the host 300.
