AUTOMATION METHOD FOR DEMAND ALLOCATION USING PIPE NETWORK CALCULATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which automatically generates a total water service pipe network chart used for the pipe network calculation from a water supply chart and also allocates water properly to the demand points of the total water service pipe network chart, based on the water consumption shown in the water rate data. SOLUTION: The information on the water supply pipes, the end points of the water supply pipes and the connection points of the water service facilities provided on the pipelines are prepared from a total pipe network consisting of several hundreds sheets of water supply pipe network drawings 101. Then the water supply pipe network data consisting of the water supply pipes 103 are extracted together with the demand points 107 consisting of the intersecting points of water supply pipes and the connection points between the water supply and service pipes and set on the pipe network. The secondary preparation of the water supply pipe chart is possible by managing and servicing previously a water supply drawing, and it is not required to additionally prepare a conventional water service pipe network chart for the execution of the pipe network calculation which is similar to a total pipe network chart.
