PACKAGING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device with which packaging materials can be reduced, excellent in assembling and unpackaging properties. SOLUTION: There is provided a packaging device for packaging a packaged item 3 having a protrusion 2 protruded outwardly at one end of a cylindrical barrel 1. This packaging device is comprised of a first holder 5 curved and formed by cardboard material having two opposing receiving surfaces 8 for receiving a rear surface of the protrusion 2 of the packaged item 3 on the bottom surface 7, an insertion part 9 enclosed by the receiving surfaces 8 and inserting the barrel 1, and provided with an outer surface 10 and an inner surface 11 for supporting the receiving surfaces 8 against the bottom surface in a substantial horizontal manner; and a second holder 6 curved and formed by cardboard material comprised of a top plate 21 covering an end part of the protrusion 2 received at the receiving surfaces 8, and sleeves 22 arranged at both sides of the top plate 21 to protect both sides of the protrusion 2 on the receiving surfaces 8. Then, the receiving surfaces 8 of the first holder 5 and one surface of each of the sleeves 22 of the second holder 6 abutting against the receiving surfaces 8 are provided with an insertion fitting structure, the first holder 5 and the second holder 6 are connected by the fitting structure so as to bind the entire structure.
