Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packaging device having a high cushioning capacity for a fireproof damper-equipped hood. SOLUTION: For a packaging device which houses a fireproof damper- equipped hood having a turnable damper plate 2 for closing a ventilation opening by heat sensing of a heat-sensitive member at the inside of a hood 1 for ventilatively covering the ventilation opening of a building in an outer case 3 under the cushioning state, a damper holding member which holds the free end-side of the damper plate 2 being set free at the middle position in its turning range and restricts the movement of the plate is attached to the end 7 of the ventilation opening of the fireproof damper-equipped hood. Then, the hood is encased in the outer case 3 with the damper plate 2 being held at the middle of its turning range by the damper holding member 9.
