COMPOSITION FOR PACKING AND METHOD OF TREATING CARPET THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate drying and hardening by mixing a specified ratio of polyisocyanate compound having a reactive isocyanate group into a specified ratio of solid material emulsion compound. SOLUTION: This packing composition comprises a mixture of (A) 100 pts.wt. of at least one kind of solid material selected from a group of styrene butadiene copolymer latex, acrylic resin emulsion, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion and natural rubber latex, (B) 0.3-2 pts.wt. of dispersing agent, (C) 0.5-5 wt.pts. of crosslinking agent, (D) 0.1-1.5 pts.wt. of defoaming agent, (E) 100-500 pts.wt. of highly solid material emulsion compound that is composed, in terms of solid material, of a mixture of at least one kind of powder filler selected from a group of calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, silica sand and barium sulfate and high density rubber asphalt emulsion with the solid material concentration of 70 wt.% or more, and 1-30 pts.wt. of a polyisocianate compound having a reactive isocianate group.
