INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM, INDEX PRINTER, AND INDEX INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily enter index information by forming an index display part between the stag lib part and read-in area inner peripheral side of a pair information recording medium and using the index printer having a printing means and a positioning means for restricting a print position for the index display part. SOLUTION: The index printer 9 primarily comprises a pin 10 for position restriction and a print part 11. The print position is restricted by inserting the pin 10 for position restriction into the center hole of the pair information recording medium and then the index printer 9 is pressed down against the surface of the pair information recording medium to transfer the character pattern of the print part 11 to the index display part of the pair information recording medium. Consequently, the index information can accurately and easily be recorded to the narrow ring-shaped index display part of the both-side recordable pair information recording medium such as DVD.
