Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present the sense of touch on a virtual body in display video while displaying the video by constituting some of the pixels constituting two-dimensional video by using vibrators which are arranged on a display screen at equal intervals. SOLUTION: An LCD panel 1 has 652 pixel electrodes 3 and 28 vibrators 4 on a substrate 2. The 652 pixel electrodes 3 constitute a liquid crystal light valve having a two-dimensional array structure on the display surface. With transmitted or reflected light obtained through the light modulation of the liquid crystal light valve, a moving picture of various two-dimensional video is displayed. Further, each vibrator 4 is so constituted as to vibrate by a piezoelectric element along and perpendicularly to a display surface. Therefore, when a fingertip, etc., are brought into contact with the display surface over a look at the video, the sense of touch on the virtual body in the display video is obtained. It is evident which part in the display video the sense of touch on is presented, so the need for a device for inputting the movement of a part to be brought into contact with the virtual body is eliminated. |
