Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tray for fusion splicing of coated optical fibers improved in operability when managing the coated optical fiber in one-piece or two-pieces unit and an optical termination box for housing the same. SOLUTION: Axial centers are respectively set in the same positions on two sides of the longer side of the outer peripheries of the tray 2 at two stages of the front and rear surface levels in the thickness direction of the tray. Hinges 21C and 22C which are one of three-point pin hinges are formed in the upper part and other hinges 21R, 21L, 22R and 22L are formed in the lower part. Fitting projecting parts 51 and 52 are fixed to one of the same positions of both front and rear surfaces and fitting recessed parts 49 and 59 are formed in the other, respectively. Guide walls 35 and 36 for assuring the bending diameter of the coated fibers are disposed in the central part in the extra length housing part of the inside.
