FREEZING PREVENTION DEVICE FOR ROOF DRAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing prevention device for a roof drain being capable of easy check of a current flow through a thermostat, easy maintenance for thermostat or the like and capable of restricting damages to electric power cable without disturbing other equipment. SOLUTION: A thermostat 6 is installed to an attaching member 8 attached to a strainer 2 installed to a drain outlet 1. On the other hand, a power supply cable 4 connected at its one end to the thermostat 6 is inserted to the inside of a drain pipe 3 from a gap in a strainer 2 and extended downward and moreover extended to the external from the drain pipe 3 through a branch pipe 3A and is connected to a power source in a room.
