SOLUTION: A holding part having contacts is arranged opposite to a slit 14 of a side wall 4a in a casing 4 of a lettering machine. An engagement body 28 is set slidably to the side wall 4a of the casing 4. An open hole 32 for passing an engagement groove 42c of a power source cord 40 and an engagement hole 30 to be engaged with the engagement groove 42c of the power source cord 40 are formed to the engagement body 28. An insertion projection 42b of the power source plug 40 having contacts is inserted to the holding part in the casing through the open hole 32 of the engagement body 28. Thereafter, the engagement body 28 is slid to engage the engagement hole 30 with the engagement groove 42c, thereby preventing the power source plug 40 from slipping off the holding part.
