Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stud welding pin which can be advantageously used for mounting and fixing a prescribed covering material such as a heat insulating material, a soundproof material, etc., to a base material made of a metal, which constitutes the inside and outside walls of a building, the outside surface panel, etc., of an air conditioning equipment and a machine equipment. SOLUTION: Relating to a stud welding pin 10 having a board shaped head part 12 and a rod shaped leg part 14 erected on the head part 12, which have been constituted respectively from a conductive material and whose leg part 14 is welded on its tip portion 20 by energizing, the tip part 20 of the leg part 14 is allowed to have a tapered shape by a recessed shape tapered surface 26 formed from a curved surface recessed to the outside.
