PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a switching device compact by disposing apparatus components of the device in a rectilinear manner. SOLUTION: A drive pipe shaft 6 having a helical groove 6a and fastened to an output shaft 2 of an operating device 1 is turnably supported by a bearing 7, and a translation bearing 11 having an oblong slit 11a is fixed. A movable shaft 9 having a contact part 9c on its end part and having rollers 9a, 9b engaging with the helical groove 6a in the drive pipe shaft 6 and with the oblong slit 11a in the linear motion bearing 11, respectively, is inserted into the drive pipe shaft 6 in a turnable manner and into the linear motion bearing 11 in a slidable manner, respectively.
