PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a recycle work by mechanically processing various kinds of desk works accompanied with the recycle work by writing recycle information peculiar to a product and identification information. SOLUTION: An IC card 2 as one example of a recycle information recording medium writing identification information peculiar to a product 1 such as recycle information data or product number of that product is attached to one part of the product 1 such as on the surface of a rear lid, for example, and the input/output terminal of the IC card 2 is arranged at any place easily accessible from the outside. In the case of recycling this product 1, an input/output terminal 3a of a recycle information reader 3 is connected to this input/output terminal and the recycle information data recorded on the IC card 2 are read out. An IC part or input/output tenninal part is protected by being recessed (rather than the periphery or protected by closely installing a guard member 4 or cover member so as not to damage the IC or input/output terminal with unexpected contact or the like.
